On November 19th, 2017, Krowdster turned 3 years old!
Thank you to everyone who helped us make Krowdster the #1 crowdfunding marketing software. We look back at an exciting journey of serving over 25,000 crowdfunding campaigns and helping them raise many millions of dollars on Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and so many other crowdfunding platforms.
If you’ve been following Krowdster for a while, you know that we strive to make our product better and more accessible to the broadest possible audience of crowdfunding entrepreneurs.
We recognize that the majority of crowdfunding campaigns have very limited marketing budgets and need to spend it wisely.
In our effort to constantly make Krowdster better, we’ve just released a massive update to Backer Directory and made access to our data much cheaper.
Here are the updates in detail:
We have updated the frontend layout to accommodate the new contact data points that we have made available. The new design is 100% mobile ready and Backer Directory is now also available on your mobile device and tablet.
Backer Database Update
We have updated over 50,000 super backer records with over 280,000 new data points (read: social media accounts etc) and also made them available as exports. New types of social media accounts include LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Where available, we now also show the Klout Score for backers. The Klout Score is a metric from 1-100 defining someone’s reach on social media. This makes it easy for you to identify backers by their influence on social media.
Twitter Audience Export
By popular demand, when exporting backers, the system will now automatically create a new CSV file that can be used without editing to create a Twitter custom audience. After exporting a data set, the Twitter export file will be in the export tab with the general and Facebook audience export files.
Export Limit Increase
By talking with many of our clients, we also learned that an increase of export credits would be helpful to create better custom audiences on Twitter and Facebook. To accommodate this, we have retroactively increased the export credit limit from 15,000 to 25,000 monthly exports at no extra charge. If you are reading this and have an existing account, the extra 10,000 download credits have already been applied to your account. No extra charge for the increase in export limits, the subscription stays at the same low $99 dollars.
